The Quote. Our price quotes and contracts are emailed immediately upon submission of the first wedding lead form. We offer a base package and plenty of add-on options to choose from for weddings, events and parties. Even by accepting a price quote, you are not committed to booking MicDrop until the contract is signed and deposit paid.
Communication. Some calls and/or texts may be sent to move the process along, but all important matters will be documented on the provided forms as attached to the emails provided. Please mark our email address nate@micdropDJ.com as a safe sender and priority to properly receive messages in your inbox. Our client services voicemail and text line is 419-718-2552.
DJ Assignment. We sometimes provide multiple events on the same date. Please consult with us to determine which DJ / MC will be assigned to your event. The owner & lead DJ/MC (Nate) usually performs at the most demanding event of the day.
Consultations. We can set an appointment to meet in person in Findlay, at the venue if possible, or by phone. Video calls and web-conferencing are also available via FaceTime, FB Messenger, Google Duo, & Zoom. A final consultation is required 3-20 days prior to the event. The final event planning questionnaire is due before the final consultation, as well as the final payment.
Booking Completion. A booking is not complete until a contract has been signed by both client and MicDrop Productions, a deposit has been paid, and contact has been made via a personal phone call, text or email.
Deposit Payment. A 20-30% deposit is typically due 5 days after contract signature. An invoice will be emailed with the deposit payment amount. The final payment is due at the conclusion of the final consultation, typically 4-21 days prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy. If a cancellation request is made by email and text 21 days or more prior to the event date, the deposit payment is partly refundable at 50%. If cancelled less than 21 days in advance, the deposit in not refundable.
Reschedule Policy. If an event is rescheduled, the original invoice and contract will be void, the current rate is applied to the new invoice, a new contract must be signed, and the difference in price, if any, is due by the original event date as well as another $200 deposit towards the final invoice. The original deposit will also be applied to the new invoice.
Modifications in Service. Service options such as a photo booth can be taken off or added to the invoice, if needed, and a discount applied if the length of event needs to be shortened.
Late Bookings. A requested event that will take place in less than 5 days may be harder to coordinate and plan, and may be charged a late booking fee. The full account balance will be due immediately in one lump sum upon booking.
Client Portal. MicDrop provides an online portal granting access to all digital documents of future and past MicDrop services, including questionnaires, quotes, contracts, and invoices. We also use Google docs for event timelines, shareable with clients.
Song Requests. We try hard to accommodate song requests that are submitted at the DJ booth or thru our website with requestor's name, artist name and song title. Some restrictions apply based on host preference, audience and length of event.
DJ Samples & Demos. Please go to our YouTube channel, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages for samples of our prior work. If you wish to schedule a 5-10 minute video call on a Saturday afternoon, we may be able to show you in real-time our equipment running at another event.
Insurance Policy. MicDrop Productions is covered by all the adequate insurance coverage for your event. You may receive our certificate of liability insurance upon request. We do not assume liability for any client's or guests negligence or damages.
