Initial Questionnaire. Upon submitting lead information on our website, clients receive a questionnaire that will help us know more about their unique event needs, and get the conversation going. All wedding leads will receive this document immediately. Sometimes, a quick phone call or texts will be necessary.
The Quote. We offer a base package and plenty of add-on options for weddings, events and parties. We will send an email outlining ALL of our pricing information and what is included in each of our packages. Client must submit this price quote. This document can be edited after completion, upon request. We book up to 18 months in advance.
The Contract. A contract is attached to the price quote above. It must be signed by both client and MicDrop Productions. Sufficient contact must be made by phone call, text or email before MDP will counter-sign the contract.
Deposit Payment. An invoice will be sent separately following a contract agreement. Approximately 30% deposit is typically due within 5 days after contract signing. We accept deposits of up to 50% of the total invoice. A Square payment processing fee of 3.1% will be applicable on invoices paid by debit/credit card. Planning App. After paying the deposit or up to 90 days prior to the event/wedding we will send the planning app that goes over all the details of your event timeline and music. This will be delivered via a weblink that must be first opened using a smart phone. We use all this information during our final consultation. Parties typically do not make use of this app. LEARN MORE
Initial Consultation. We can set an appointment to meet by phone, video or in-person, either before or after the contract has been signed. Video calls and web-conferencing are available via FaceTime, FB Messenger, Google Meet, & Zoom. Schedule a time on our calendar HERE.
Final Consultation & Payment. Clients should set an appointment time to occur 1-3 weeks before the event. The event/wedding planning app questions and music selections are due 1-2 days before the consultation. The final payment is also due at the conclusion of the final consultation. POLICIES
Communication. Some calls and/or texts may be sent to move the process along, but all important matters will be documented on the provided forms as attached to the emails provided. Please mark our email address nate@micdropDJ.com as a safe sender and priority to properly receive messages in your inbox. Our client services voicemail and text line is 419-718-2552.
DJ Assignment. We sometimes provide multiple events on the same date. Please consult with us to determine which DJ / MC will be assigned to your event. The owner & lead DJ/MC (Nate) usually performs at the most demanding event of the day.
Cancellations. If a cancellation request is made by email and text 21 days or more prior to the event date, the deposit is partially refundable up to 50% of the payment amount, at our sole discretion and capability. If cancelled less than 30 days in advance, the deposit is non-refundable.
Rescheduling. If an event is rescheduled, the original invoice and contract will be void, the current rate is applied to the new invoice, a new contract must be signed, and the sum difference of the two prices, if any, is due by the original event date. Weddings will also incur a $200 rescheduling fee.
Modifications. Service add-on options may be taken off or added onto the invoice. A price adjustment may be requested if the length of event must be shortened.
Urgent Bookings. A requested event that will take place in less than 5 days may be harder to coordinate and plan, and may be charged a late booking fee. The full account balance will be due immediately in one lump sum upon booking.
Client Portal. MicDrop provides an online portal granting access to all digital documents of future and past MicDrop services, including questionnaires, quotes, contracts, and invoices. This is separate from the planning app.
Song Requests. We try hard to accommodate song requests that are submitted at the DJ booth. Some restrictions apply based on host preference, audience, event type, and length of event.
DJ Samples & Demos. Please go to our YouTube channel, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages for samples of our prior work. If you wish to schedule a 5-10 minute video call on a Saturday afternoon, we may be able to show you in real-time our equipment running at another event.
Privacy. MicDrop Productions will never sell or give away client information or send spam. We only use contact info to offer services for which our current and prospective clients have already expressed interest. Some event photos or videos may appear on our website or social media pages.
Insurance. MicDrop Productions is covered by all the adequate insurance coverage for your event. You may receive our certificate of liability insurance upon request. We do not assume liability for any client's or guests negligence or damages.
